All the answers to this question refer to the same place, Silver Decoy Winery. The wine that left the biggest impression on me was Silver Decoy's Ugly Duckling Red. It's really delicious and unique. I don't usually enjoy red wines, this much, but Ugly Duckling Red is a well balanced wine. It's slightly sweet with light blackberry flavor and it presents a slight spicy quality. It's best served chilled. Anyone we've introduced to this wine has enjoyed it. I also enjoy the bottle or the label on the Ugly Duckling Red. It's cute and memorable. It's in the picture on the left, here: http://njwinewithme.com/2012/03/17/my-favorite-new-jersey-winery-silver-decoy/#
We also enjoy the facility. It has a hunting lodge, laid back feel. The staff is friendly, funny and they seem laid back too. We always have a nice relaxing experience here.

Hi there - interesting read. The best fruit wines I've ever had came from John Kemp, sadly retired, in Suffolk, England. He also made great value grape wines, but his raspberry fruit wine, of which I still have a bottle, was a superb example of this style of drink. unlike many fruit wines which are cloyingly sweet and alcoholic at 16%ABV, this was only 10%, light and fresh - perfect as an aperitif or as a chilled summer drink. I wrote about his wines at http://robinsfoodanddrinkblog.co.uk/2012/07/a-fond-farewell-to-kemps-wines/

Next time I'm in NJ, I'll look out for Cream Ridge!

Greetings Cape May Wine & Vineyard Supporter,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Celli and I am the Farm Director of Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May. I do apologize for our opening date delay. I can assure you the last thing we would like to do is spend money on advertising our business without being able to generate income from our advertisers. Unfortunately we have been met with many surprising obstacles and lots of local red tape. I can assure you that we will be open very soon and would like to offer you and your husband a personal tour of our property on our really cool vineyard tour carts the next time you are in the area. Please except this as a thank you for continuing to visit even though you have not been able to fully enjoy our beautiful farm.

To schedule a tour just email me directly at
KCelli7318@gmail.com

My Kindest Regards,
Kevin M. Celli
Farm Director
